Short stories are a genre I’ve come to late in life. Why haven’t I always read them? Who knows. These days I love having a collection on the go, in the background, while reading other things. They’re a great way to have a break and still be entertained. Being short they don’t mess about. They get to the point quickly, deliver their punchline and end nicely, all rounded off and packed away. This is a particularly good selection, really enjoyed them!
