Overall this collection was just OK. The stories in the collection are older so they seem dated but even accounting for that they sometimes drag. Some of the characters, like in Razzmatazz and Some Enchanted Season, weren’t very likable and some of the romance, like in Scandalous, seemed forced. Not a horrible collection but not something I would eagerly recommend. ( )This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This is a wonderful mix of romantic stories with very interesting characters and engrossing storylines. There are full of romance, drama and laughs. I especially loved Razzmatazz, but all were great stories.I received a complimentary copy of this book from LibraryThing. This is my honest opinion of it. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This was a great box set of 4 books. I loved the first 2 stories the most. They were all fun, quick reads with some sass and romance all combined into one. If you like romances I highly recommend this book. I will be looking for more from this author. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. I received this ebook box set of four romances by Patricia Burroughs through LibraryThing's Early Reviewer program, and I'm so glad that I did! Originally published between 1988 and 1991, these contemporary romances have a little age on them, but the characters and their stories are still delightful. The set is a quick, light-hearted read for people who enjoy fun romance. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This box set of four steamy romances is a great way to kill an afternoon, day or boring car ride. Be warned not to let people read over your shoulder, as these are quitesaucy! Not your Mama's tepid romance novels of the sixties! These novels have modern settings and modern complications, but they really are just simple, fun romance novels. The author inserts plenty of humor, which I really appreciated. She seems to know this genre can get formulaic, and makes an effort to avoid that, but also pokes fun at the genre at the same time- not an easy feat! Don't expect deep thoughts or big reveals, but do expect plenty of sauciness and easy, relaxed reading. I thank the author for the donated copy in exchange for a review of her novels. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
