I'm looking for a book, part of a series, for a friend. A Druid spear, a woolly mammoth, 2 college students who go back in time, who also become warriors who are fighting evil. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I can't believe I finally know one!

ETA: Although I think it was an aurochs, not a wooly mammoth. But still.

Yep, I think fyrefly98 has nailed it. By my recollection, it was an aurochs. It's the first one in the series "Song of Albion."
