My husband, Don, and I live in Athens, Pennsylvania in the old farm house that his grandparents built in the 1880's. We have three sons - Brian, Jeff, and Mark, and two daughters-in-law, Becky and Katie. We are blessed to have three grandsons, Caleb, Samuel, and Nathanael!

I have two cats, Juanita and Squirt, and I dog-sit my middle son's black lab, Gus. Gus thinks he is a lap dog and often gets in the way when I sit down to write stories.

The road to getting published has been a long one for me. It took me 20 years of trying & being rejected before my first children's book was accepted. I am passionate about telling my story to children & encouraging them to follow their own dreams. [Website retrieved 6/12/2022]
