Bob Mumford likens our "spiritual becoming" to that of the children of Israel on their journey from Babylon to Zion. The author reveals how Psalms 120-134 contain fifteen fundamental principles to be mastered as we move from a state of doubt and confusion to spiritual maturity.
This is a valuable book to give young Christians to help them grow in Christ. The most important chapter for guidance is the "Three Harbor Lights." Book also identifies the pitfalls of false guidance. This is one book every Christian should own. The year 2011 will be its 40th year in print and it has stood the time of time.
Temptation shows us where we are in our walk with God. Bob Mumford writes clearly. This is a good book for a new Christian.
