An engaging book that sparked interesting conversation for our book group. It was interesting to see how passages dealing with materialism made comfortable people squirm.
An amazing book that I read with a book group. Willard is an engaging author with accessible style, an academic mind and passionate heart. Practical and life-changing stuff. I own it and plan to read it many times.
Among the books I've read about Christianity, this was one of the most challenging. None of it really went down easily, and it prompted some serious introspection. This one will be on my mind for a long time.
