The Penguin Book of Southern African Stories
This collection of short stories includes writing from Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. It reflects a thriving, diverse and colourful tradition ranging from the pre-Christian legends, tales of white settlers colonizing lands both beautiful and inhospitable and then later stories of the changes that have swept through sub-Saharan Africa.
