I might have to take a break from this series...it's getting to be more & more convoluted & involved. So much description to digest, and after a while it got to be just too much....

Milton dies again and finds himself back in Heck trying to rescue his friend Virgil & his sister Marlo. Virgil has been moved to the 3rd Circle: Blimpo where the gluttonous boys & girls reside. Marlo has been made an "Infern" who will be eventually working for "The Big Guy" down there.

Damien has been revived by the group "KOOK", who want to use him as a "bridge" back to the other side.

Milton, along with Anubis & Virgil are working on an escape plan. Virgil himself decides to stay behind & create a revolution in Blimpo, after all, overeating isn't a sin. Marlo has become enchanted and isn't quite herself.

"The Big Guy" upstairs is on a vacation & the Archangels are left to run the show.

This is very cleverly written and there are many many puns, but it was all too much. ( )
