Basically a YA retelling of the old "librarians" Tv show, but still; above average filler YA. I'd puck up other books by the author on purpose, having read this one more or lessby acident. ( ) The premise of this book was great, but the execution of it was just ok. I found the idea of the object library fascinating (and honestly could have read a book about just that without the magic) and the story was fun if somewhat predictable. I got rather frustrated with the protagonist though, she was just so annoyingly naive! And the ending of the book felt a bit too deus ex machina. This reminded me slightly of Enchanted, Inc. which I slogged through. However, this was a delight to read, especially as soon as I met the grouch, Aaron. His phone calls were hysterical. It's a quirky idea and it works. And the parents were, for the most part, very responsible. Yes, quite sweet. (But couldn't it be more quirky? Couldn't Mr. Rust have a more defined personality? Couldn't we explore Aaron and have less of this grump stuff? It needs a brave editor...) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
