this is a quick read due to the poetic style. One night of too much action creates a pregnant teen with a mother full of anger and spite. 16 year old Sahara refers to it as the thin pink line. She is in emotional turmoil until her third trimester when she finally gets up the courage to tell her mother. I may have just spoiled it, but reading her thoughts only lets you know what a struggle it is to go through such a life-altering situation. ( )

This book lets us see things through the eyes of a teenage pregnant mother. It tells her story of being pregnant, and feeling alone. Throughout the nine months, she is faced with a difficult question; will she keep the baby, give it up for adoption, or get an abortion?

I was disappointed with this book. The book rhymed, so at some parts it was really hard to understand what was going on. And the author would put random wourds in to make it rhyme, it got annoying.

Nothing compelling comes to mind, except that she dosen't give the baby up maybe. The content seemed too rushed, and although the topic is appealing, nothing interesting happens in the book. The protagonist is very 2-Dimensional. The only info. you get aobut her is a name, age, and that she is Catholic. Wasn't my favorite book. :( AHS/KR

In verse, but a realistic situation. I remember being disappointed on how it concluded though. ( )
