Review from my 13 year old:
Carson Drew tells Nancy about an interesting case about husband and wife actors who are adopting twins. I liked it, Nancy helps a lot of families, less action put still plenty of detecting in this one, she also has a picnic.

*note from me* whenever possible I buy the original, unedited version as Nancy is more independent and adventurous. These books can have content consistent with the time in which they were written. ( )

bookclub in LG, this is actually the book that the author Shaun Perkins of LG got her inspiration and the book of poetry she wrote (that I read) (I didn’t read the Nancy drew book). Shaun’s book is called The Book With The Broken Locket. It’s a true story mystery with names changed which I like. About a young girl who died at the age of 12 who was some relation to the author. I liked it. ( )

A thrilling mystery with a lot of bumped heads and threats issued. I'm always interested when a doppelganger turns out to be better than secret twins, and this plot is more complex than most involving look-alikes. ( )
