Independent Reading: All ages I'm usually not a fan of creation myths - the 'voice' they're written in doesn't suit me, and I can't feel a sympathetic connection to coyote or man or anyone. ?áBut I have enjoyed many of Michael Rosen's books, so I chose this from my library. ?áAnd I'm glad I did. ?áRosen retells some?áworld folk stories (authenticated in notes) in a fresh and engaging style, with humor and verve. ?áAnd the pictures are terrific. If I were a teacher I would pair this with another, un-illustrated selection of myths, or perhaps even have the children write their own stories. ?áThen, for art, we could use the basic supplies of construction paper (or colored printer paper of course), scissors, and paste or glue sticks, and illustrate our stories just like Clementson does these. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
