This book was super fun to read. It was light and fun and exactly what I needed to read. It was full of plot but not confusing. It was a typical chick lit book but if that's what you are in the mood for, it's perfect. ( )This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. The cover says it all--lime green, a hot pink bra, a cell phone and medical records all underneath large scripted font--screams cheesey. Although I like chick lit, I found this predictable, dry, cliche, and confusing. It's silly and hard ot get through. I haven't read her other stories (this was from an early reviewer batch) but maybe that would have helped with keeping the characters straight. I won't read another book by this author and will trust my first impressions--especially on covers. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This was a dishy novel about evil Hollywood - sex, drugs, huge egos, and plastic surgery. Some of the secrets were a little out there. Now I want to read the previous book about these characters, since sometimes I got confused who was who. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This book was pretty good. It follows the scandal of 4 women/friends that are all part of the hollywood in crowd. At times it is predictable, but all in all its a pretty good beach read! This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. First, allow me to be upfront about my prejudices with Marr's book. While I used to be a huge fan of the "chick lit" genre, I've slowly slipped away from it, due to the inescapable predictability of the plots. Also, I haven't read the first book in this series, since I was lucky enough to receive this book through LT's Early Reviewers club. Although I found the majority of the book to be a bit on the dull side, and the characters to be quite underdeveloped, the lat 40 or so pages of the novel were not only hilarious, but very entertaining. In my opinion, they made up for the lackluster pages preceeding it. The surprise ending was wonderful and refreshing. While the subject of Hollywood starlets and their drama still isn't my favorite type of story, Marr's book has won me over, and I would now proudly count myself among her fans. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
