The pace was rather slow and took a while to reach the climax. Hill's description is also not vivid enough, so it was rather difficult to picture all the various creatures in the book. At least Hill knows when to stop a series and did not belabor it anymore. This book was amazing. Everything was falling apart around them and yet they still managed to find someone to be their mortal enemy. Then, while they're going against all they've struggled for in the last two books, another enemy is sliding into the cracks, secretly pushing for the demise of not only the Icemark, but all that is good. With hardly fifty pages to go and at least one epic battle still to come, if not two, I had no idea how it could possibly be finished in time, but somehow Thirrin comes through again. Well worth the read. In the last book, Medea, Thirrin's daughter, was exiled. But she was not alone. Where she was exiled, there were millions of witches and warlocks who had turned to the Dark side whose essence were turned into crystals. Medea and her grandfather, Crounus, invade the Icemark while the rest of the kingdom is out to protect themselves from a new threat. But there is one thing that Medea and Chronus didn't think about, the vampires! I would like to thank everybody who reads this for sticking with this series to the end. If you have read this series, than you know how good this book is. I will never, ever, forget this book, or its charecters. Never going to be a bad book, this one of the best series that I have ever read!!! ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
