This book is based on the challenges a boy went though while his cousin is fighting in World War II.
This book would be great for students with family over seas if they are having a hard time it might be a good talking point. This would also be a great way to help students understand what others may be going through.
This would be great for grades 3 to 5.

A book that tells life during/while war from the viewpoint of a child. It describes how the child experiences life, parties etc. Furthermore, it shows when children are listening secretely to their parents. In consequence, many questions come up. The protagonist's cousin dies during the war which also leads to many questions. A nice book which shows in a careful way the situation before World War II. ( )
