Albert Einstein: A Biography was a great book. It wasn't extremely long however it managed to fit in a lot of details about Albert Einstein. Everyone knows, Einstein is a significant scientist who invented many scientific materials and came up with many different laws in science. I was able to find out a lot more about Einstein through this book including where he was from, his parents, his childhood and different inventions. I do not want to spoil the book because it is a good book, I definitely recommend reading this one! ( )

This book is a biography about Einstein's life from when he was a kid, until his grown life and eventually when he passes away. Although it is not an extremely "colorful" picture book, it is still a great book for older kids to use to learn more about the scientists who were the "founders of science" so to speak. This book was interesting for me to read as well, because some of the facts in it are not as commonly known as others about him. I also think it would be good for kids to read to see that someone so important to our history was once just like them, but because he worked hard and did what he was passionate about, he was able to make a huge difference.

Milton Meltzer's biography on Albert Einstein was very informing and is perfect for a middle schooler who is looking to do a research project on a scientist. At the age of six Einstein played the violin, had few friends growing up, at sixteen he tried to understand the nature of light (lead him to his most famous work), he was the first to discover the theory of relativity, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics and later become a U.S. citizen. The majority of it is easy to read. This would be an ideal book for you if you enjoy learning about scientists but on the other hand others might feel that the interest level isn't on the high end of the scale. ( )

Albert Einstein was a significant figure who shaped the way we think of science today. He was a brilliant scientist and physicists who was constantly on the search to explain the world around us. He is one of the most famous scientist we know of today and has made many accomplishment and contributions to the way we see our world today. Five important facts about Albert Einstein are that if he would not have found his love for science he would have been a musician. He claimed to often be extremely stubborn with his work. He created the theory of relativity, E=mc2, at the age of 26. This discovery was abel to contribute to the fields of astrophysics, cosmology, nuclear physics, electronics and space travel. He was also strongly against war and was able to warn President Franklin D. Roosevelt about a possible German atomic bomb. The book itself appears to be very professional and accurate in their facts. The organization offers the life story of Albert Einstein with many insetting and important details. ( )

Milton Meltzer, a renowned author of children's nonfiction for decades, makes Albert Einstein very accessible for young readers. Despite many adults having trouble understanding what his famous equation means, Meltzer breaks up E=mc2 into easily digestible chunks so that young readers can suss out the meaning. History teachers will appreciate that a letter from Einstein to President Roosevelt is in the text; it is never too early to introduce students to the concept of primary sources. Between that letter and the extensive bibliography, Meltzer's biography is a great resource to teachers of both history and science to introduce their students to Einstein. ( )
