Anyone who knows me knows how I love sparkling things so when I was hunting for photos of the Queen's tiaras I came across this book and had to have it.

I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the jewelry that is showcased is magnificent, however, I really would have loved to have seen some up close photos of all the pieces, not just photos of the Queen wearing them. You could see the sparkle, not necessarily the design. ( )

I love this book and collect photos of the Queen wearing her jewels. I even have photos of jewels not in the collection. ( )

This visual and historical look at the magnificient jewelry of the British Royal Collection of jewels is a feast for the eyes. The author has meticulously put together a collection of photographs showing various members of the royal family wearing stunning pieces including many parures. The period covered by the author starts with Queen Victoria in the 19th century to the present Queen. The stories behind each photograph and jewelry is what makes this book a standout. ( )
