The book is about a leopard and hare building the same house at different times and not knowing that the other was helping. In the end, the hare was able to trick the leopard and get the while house to himself. I think this is a good book for kids to read because it is funny and deals with the smaller animal beating the bigger animal. ( ) Sangura and Leopard: A swahili Trickster Tale is about a leopard and a hare name Sangura and how they end up getting along and living together. This story is written using African story telling elements. The illustrations are a mixture of scratchboard and water colors and are absolutely beautiful. There are parts in the story where the illustrations are inside of a box. There are also parts where there are tiny illustrations that go along with a short phrase. I loved this book, and I think the children would also enjoy it too! The mighty leopard being tricked by the little hare makes for a very funny story. The leopard and the hare end up being roommates, but when the hare has a wife and children he fears for their safety. He decides he must trick the leopard into leaving. He is very sneaky doing this, and it makes for a great story. This story is about a Hare and a Leoprard. Both start to build a home that's the same house and they have no idea. Each continue to build and think that someone is just helping them along. Soon they find out there living in the same house. The leopard and the hare try to find a way to get rid of each other. This story was very funny. I thought it wouldn't be interesting but I found it to be very diffrent. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
