Wow, this was a powerful read. I challenge everyone to read this book and not have it affect you in any way. This is a book that each of us can relate to in the present as well as in the future. As each character was introduced I saw my sinful past very clearly. I am so happy that I accepted the call to be a follower of Jesus Christ and am walking the walk as Christian and Hopeful did. Did Christian and Hopeful make it into Heaven? Guess you will have to read the book to find out.

As I strive for the goal of Heaven being my final resting place, I know that my God will be with me every step of the way. ( )

Almost done with this, as our Christian Classic Books group from church goes through it week by week. Very readable, with copious footnotes, sometimes too many. Editorial interp seems good but occasionally I questioned the editor's comments. If you see the Christian life is a journey, then you must read this work. Bunyan's insights are useful, challenging, and will help any believer re-think their commitment to the faith. ( )

A classic. This book will eternally remind me of grade school (I was in play), high school (we studied this book for what seemed like six months) and summer camp (this was the theme). ( )
