I would use this book in my classroom teach students in my classroom about chameleons ( )

This book is all about chameleons. It talks about the different kinds of chameleons, their lifestyle, where you would find them, and fun facts about them. I like this book a lot because even though it is written at about a third or fourth grade level, it includes tons of great information in a writing style easy for this age range to understand. It also includes great illustrations that correspond to the information on each page. Something else that I like is that it also addresses some common misconceptions which is why it would be a great book to use to teach about different reptiles, especially because this is a common one most students know. ( )

A non-fiction picture book about chameleons written from a very personal viewpoint, mixing fact with feelings, encouraging children to think, feel and imagine as they learn.

I loved this book and it's illustrations. Each page was different with popping colors and it left me excited for the next page. I LOVED that there was an index. This could be a great book to use to help show the use of an index. ( )

Cute book depicting why, according to the boy telling the story, that chameleons are cool and would make great pets. Great pictures.
Classroom:
This book could be used for a reptile unit, introducing chameleons and compare/contrast to other reptiles (possible Venn diagram).
Could also be used for an animal/ pet caring lesson.
