Kimberly103164 | Jan 14, 2024 |   This book was sort of different since it was about 3 divorced woman (Lauren, Sophie and Madeline) with children and how Lauren the software developer decided to come up with an app and have “wives” do chores etc. that other wives don't have time for which I thought was unusual since they have kids, are divorced and why would they want to “loan” themselves and other women who might want to do the same when they have to do this themselves. Money, that's what motivates them especially Sophie, who needs it most it seems. All in all, it was a pretty good read. Lauren, Madeline and Sophie are three best friends who all happen to be divorced.
Lauren is the last to get divorced and while celebrating the three friends come up with the idea of the “Wife App”. This is an App where anyone can sign up to be a
“wife”. After researching and proposal’s they finally get financing and the App gets published. There App becomes successful and their customer base grows.
These three women struggle with their own live and their ”life” in the App.
Will they be able to handle everything with their sucesss and their own lives. This was such an interesting concept and the book was interesting and very unique. The book was ok and personally I thought it could be so much more.
