Ma qualunque scrittore approverebbe l'idea che, anche se applausi e guadagni arrivano dopo aver fatto qualcosa e non mentre lo si sta facendo, sarebbe il caso che ci dessero una medaglia per così dire sul campo di battaglia; che ce la appendessero al collo, in segno di riconoscimento per l'ennesima mattinata infruttuosa alla macchina da scrivere, e la settimana, i mesi passati a guardar fuori dalla finestra.

Redigér teksten, så den bliver dansk. 24 febbraio 2020 La settimana scorsa Rupert e i suoi colleghi della rivista sono andati in crisi perché l'amministrazione ha voluto sapere, senza espliciti motivi, quanti avrebbero potuto lavorare da casa. L'hanno considerata un'avvisaglia di riduzione del personale. Oggi si è scoperto che la manovra non è così ostile, è solo a titolo precauzionale. L'ufficio di Milano ha dovuto chiudere per via del coronavirus in Italia e qui a Londra hanno sondato il terreno, casomai si creasse una situazione dello stesso genere. Pare improbabile. | |
