I read this because I enjoyed Baggage, but this autobiography, focusing on her twenties is not as good. It is supposed to be about friends but it is really a list of who she met and where she went, and seems superficial. Now and again, something of the person comes through, but for the most part, it is dull. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
In Baggage, the fearless and compelling memoir of a truly bizarre childhood, Janet Street-Porter amused and shocked as she revealed her inauspicious beginnings. Now, in Fall Out, we start where Baggage left off. Young, attractive and brutally determined, we follow Janet's progress from her years in college to her burgeoning career. Brilliantly written, just as you would expect from a bestselling writer and media queen, Fall Out is a must-read for anyone fascinated by ruthlessness, ambition and talent. Like the skilled journalist she is she kept her audience despite the blips and I've been on the lookout for more of her books ever since. ( )
