I love this story. It was gritty and dark with the Fae swirled in. This is a great m/m tale. Will Ambrose is a radio relationship advice personality who is in an abusive relationship. Cobalt is a tattoo artist with a fae secret. Both men have their issues and help each other get over them. the abuse was raw and I would have loved to flay Lyle but necessary to get Will's mindset across. There was a mystery as to why Cobalt/Ciaran was banished and why the villain, Eoghann, is so obsessed with him.

These questions get answered, two men who know a lot of pain fall in love and made me a fan. Great story!! ( )

As a beta reader, I loved this book. I hadn't read Saving Liam, and that didn't interfere with my enjoyment of this story. But I do recommend that you read Saving Liam first, because if you don't, you'll want to read it afterward. :) So you may as well read the books in order.

The second installment finds Liam slowly recovering from his past abuse, with Justin providing a safe and loving environment for him to grow in. Still haunted by his past, Liam reclaims control of his body and his sexuality in a surprising but believable way.

Denman handles this difficult subject with insight and sensitivity. The characters seem real, and I hope to see more of them. ( )
