I read this one a little while back but never got around to posting about it. But I wanted to now because I am just really loving this story, the art, and the characters. Sometimes it can take me a little while reading single issues to get hooked to a comic but I pretty much got hooked on this one in the first or second issue. Even through issue #5, the characters are already so unique, development is happening, and the lore of the world is being explored. I love the art style in general but I do have to say in particular that I am in love with the coloring of this comic. I just keep going back and looking at it.

The story focuses mainly on a boy named Wynd who is being hidden away in a city that has banished the existence of any form of magical being or heritage. Wynd’s pointy ears are a dead giveaway. As the king sends a deadly tracker to hunt out even the slightest signs of magic in the city, things start getting more and more dangerous for Wynd and he is forced to leave behind his home and chances at living the “normal” life he has always wanted. But he is beginning to realize that this doesn’t have to mean he is alone.

Looking forward to reading more of this one! So far there are 10 issues out and the second collected book is set to come out in 2022.
