I am a big fan of Randy Alcorn's book Heaven so I was very excited for the opportunity to read and review this book. Face to Face with Jesus is not a book to rush through. It took me almost a month to finish because of the richness of the content. I spent a lot of time meditating on the scriptures and pondering the profound truths of the God-Man. I highlighted 88 quotes and passages that I want to spend more time delving into. One of my favorite quotes is by John Fawcett: "It is impossible to contemplate the character of Jesus, with serious and devout attention, and not be charmed with it. We see in Him all the human passions in the highest perfection." Highly recommended!
