Comfort reading when I had a cold. I felt a particularly personal sympathy for the heroine, trying to live her life in two places with her divorced mum and dad and their new families. This is one of the best early Jaqueline Wilson's, of which some of the later ones feel quite derivative. ( )

Andy's parents have split up. Andy is heart-broken. She and her toy rabbit Radish have to move to one house to another. With Mum she also stays with Un-Uncle Bill(The baboon) and is three children. Fourteen year-old typical teen Paula whose tights are useful for a water-slide for Radish, Twelve year-old Computer geek Graham who turns out to be Andy's best mate and Ten year-old spoilt brat Katie who Andy shares a room with. With Dad she stays with Carrie and her five- year twins Zen and Chrystel. Chrystel is sweet but Zen is a horrible little boy. Will Andy's life ever take a turn for the better? ( )
