I loved this story. It's a perfect blend of noirish crime thriller and good, old-fashioned superhero action. The story moves forward at a brisk pace, and I absolutely loved Typhoid Mary and the new portrayal of Bullseye. The fight between Daredevil and Fisk in the final issue is memorable as well and I am excited to see how the story evolves in further issues.

This continues the Daredevil "Outed" saga, and it becomes more and more unlikely that the Genie of his secret identity can ever go back into the bottle. Main events here are the return of the Kingpin to power, as he uses Typhoid Mary and Bullseye to distract Matt while he solidifies his power. This culminates in a final confrontation between the two, and Daredevil unbelieveably beats the Kingpin to a bloody pulp, and issues an ultimatum to his stupefied followers. Particularly satisfying is the developing relationship with Milla Donovan, who seems to have more and more depth to her. I hope she sticks around. My chief quibble here is the art, which seems stiffly ill-suited to the many action scenes. The fight with Kingpin was particularly frustrating, and I think some of the panels may have been edited out of sequence. The point is, if you can't tell, there's a problem. And for some reason, a different artist was used on a few of the panels in said fight. I don't know exactly what the point was, but it was just distracting. Plot and writing are nearly as good as I've ever seen in this title, though. I do wonder where they can go from here, with virtually everybody in the Marvel world now knowing that Matt Murdock is Daredevil. ( )
