It is about a younger child going to visit his grandfather. His grandfather is a immigrant that does not speak English, so it is hard for them to communicate. Then they find a better way to communicate through drawing together, and they become a lot closer than they have in a long time. I think that this book could be used to teacher younger children that there are ways to communicate with others, that don't involve speaking. Stunning illustrations paint the narrative of a grandfather and grandson who have nothing in common. Not even a common language. Until one day they both realize they both love to draw. And thru their drawing they begin to connect with each and find out that they have more in common then they think. An incredibly simple, heartwarming, beautifully illustrated story of family, relationships and finding common ground. ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
