( ) AshPReads | Jun 28, 2017 | Stacey Kennedy does a wonderful job with her character development. Travis and Rae are both likeable characters. They are both driven. Travis thinks with his heart, whereas Rae, is more practical. The couple never stopped loving each other, despite the years apart. They are both likeable and believable individuals. They are stronger when they are together. ROCK STAR was skillfully written. I like how the story started out with the prologue. Travis and Rae parted on good terms, having dreams that took them into different directions. I love that Travis returns to Catfish Creek to seek Rae out. ROCK STAR is a thought-provoking and enjoyable read. There were some interesting obstacles and situation the couple faced. I love the ending. It felt well concluded.
