An ancient sword points the way to an ages-old conflict and eternal love. Nika Graves was excited about the Viking exhibit at her museum. She wasn't counting on the star artifact, the Rune Sword, being stolen by a vampire. She certainly wasn't counting on falling for the Swedish SOG agent who had been assigned to protect it. With Erik Thorvald at her side and time running out, Nika has to take the Rune Sword back before the vampires - the Draugr - bring their king back to life. Her life is at risk, but when she finds out that Erik is keeping some secrets of his own, her heart just might end up being the biggest casualty of the fight. >> Download This Book Today Ingen biblioteksbeskrivelser fundet. |

The only real problem I had with this is it is YA.
I don't read YA.
I don't know how I ended up with a YA book on my shelf. I always check the various genres a book is in and read numerous reviews before I download it.
So, somewhere, somehow, I was lead to believe it was Adult.
I will NOT continue with this series.
All that aside, it was relatively well written. There are a few typos/editing errors.
The flow was pretty good until I ran into the 'Intimate Scene'. This is when I discovered it was YA. When a scene like that ends with them hugging then picks up with the deed done and NO details, yep, you got YA.
The basis of the storyline is centered around Old Norse Lore. It is interesting a different outlook on Vamps, etc.
There is quite a bit of action surrounding a sword that was dug up and placed in a museum.
So, if you like YA and paranormal/fantasy with plenty of action, you will like this series.
It just is not for me. ( )
