Comic and Graphic Books. Fiction. HTML:

Sarah Andersen's hugely popular, world-famous Sarah's Scribbles comics are for those of us who boast bookstore-ready bodies and Netflix-ready hair, who are always down for all-night reading-in-bed parties and extremely exclusive after-hour one-person music festivals. In addition to the most recent Sarah's Scribbles fan favorites and dozens of all-new comics, this volume contains illustrated personal essays on Sarah's real-life experiences with anxiety, career, relationships and other adulthood challenges that will remind readers of Allie Brosh's Hyperbole and a Half and Jenny Lawson's Let's Pretend This Never Happened. The same uniquely frank, real, yet humorous and uplifting tone that makes Sarah's Scribbles so relatable blooms beautifully in this new longer form.

Sarah Anderson speaks for all of us introverts, who prefer books and cats to people, and who feel like they're muddling through life. I loved her first collection; this one was even better. I loved the story of how she became a cat person. ( )

Quando comecei a ler pensei até em desistir, pois ele estava tomando um rumo bem diferente do que imaginei, mas no fim me peguei rindo em várias partes. É uma graphic novel super engraçada e com a qual me identifiquei em algumas partes. ( )

This is the collection that has my all-time fav panel by her of shopping in a bookstore. Everything in this book is wonderful and starting here is fine for a new reader since each comic is pretty much self-contained.

Liked this one even more than the first-very relatable humor that made me laugh and smile for the short time it took to read it. I think I'll need to give this as a gift to a few of my favorite people. ( )

I loved most pages. The strips about learning how to love cats -ex cat-hater and current cat lady here!- and dealing with anxiety, and the world and sexism. I like her voice, she is funny and her art is clear and to the point.

I *again* can't stand her fatphobic comments about gaining weight being a horribly bad thing etc. Seeing her openly talking about sexism and feminism and other social issues I hoped she would tackle the weight thing better. She does not, and it's always upsetting. ( )
