Many readers picking up Victor Spinetti’s autobiography will be doing so because they remember him from the Beatles movies A Hard Day’s Night, Help!, and Magical Mystery Tour. It is well worth picking up for this reason and for many others: the actors he’s met over the course of his career, glimpses into life in Wales during the Second World War, the challenges of being of Italian descent in wartime, and the general shenanigans and zest for life that Spinetti possesses. The narrative jumps around a bit as he is reminded of various stories, or if he wants to put an incident in context with some later information. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend tracking down a copy if you can. ( ) ingen anmeldelser | tilføj en anmeldelse
