The page count is incorrect on GR. It is about 232 pages long. If you love 'Adult' steamy reads with strong female leads and have 'Not' read a Mina Carter book, you are missing out! Cat and Tarrick are great MC's. Cat is smart, and snarky with a strong mind and personality. Tarrick is a hot, sexy Alien & proves he is intelligent as he adapts, along with Cat. The heroine and the other human females show the Lathar's just how badass than can be! The tables turn in that the Lathars are amazed and captivated by the females. The Lathar men become a bit awkward around the women trying to impress them. Enormously funny! I only found 2 typos towards the end of the story. Other than that, it is wonderfully written and fast paced. A great read filled with humor and steam. The MC's are very likable and easy to connect to. Great world build. And supporting characters that add to the story and make you want 'MORE'! There are areas that will make you laugh yourself silly, cheer the women on, and swoon with steamy heat! The Lathar are a group of warrier clans who conquer and kidnap woman to be mates and sex slaves. Then they run into humans and find that they are not a subservient race. In fact they even let women fight! All in all the romance between Cat and her alien warlord is a good one enough that I bought the next book in the series. (
