A truly wonderful picture book that tells the stories of 13 diverse women throughout history. Full of engaging illustrations and factual text, this is lovely book to show young children they can aspire to be and do whatever they dream. The arrangement of the text was sometimes a little confusing to follow, but that did not detach from the enjoyment of the read. Overall, this is a wonderful and inspiring book for parents and children to read together. I would highly recommend to all. ( )

The book is about women who did extraordinary things to change the world. From Rosa Parks to Frida Kahlo, the book demonstrates the lengths that women went through to not only influence invention, but to influence change throughout time. I think the book is a great way to let our youth see the way that women have truly influenced our life today, as this is a truly a topic that is undervalued in our world today. Think book would be great for child and adult alike to read. ( )

Good fun - but ultimately a little too much aimed at children for me. recommended for any mini-feminists in your life though - lovely artwork and I love the final messages. ( )

I love the ideals this book represents and how it shines a light on the important milestones women throughout history have tackled. This book is important to read because it is crucial to celebrate the impact women have made throughout history. ( )

This is a great book with stories on each page that documents the life of amazing women who have done great things throughout history. There is lots of information on each page but it is broken up into text boxes and there are fun illustrations to make it less overwhelming. since the print is smaller and there is a lot of content within this book it would be a good fit for upper elementary or middle school students. How did they become so fantastically amazing and great?

The women in this book didn't set out to be thought of as 'great'. They achieved extraordinary things simply by following their hearts, talents and dreams. They didn't listen when people said they couldn't do something. They dared to be different. And some of them couldn't resist a crazy adventure, or three.
