It was okay. Easy enough read, couple of funny lines. Just didn't love it to pieces. ( )

Ever since I binged on the Lucifer TV show, I look for books like The Devil In Disguise by Cynthia Eden. I loved everything about the TV show and this book. The writing was easy to read and the pace unputodwnable. The story sounded so familiar, yet was filled with twists and turns of its own. I loved the characters. Of course, we have the devil and his twin brother,good and evil, BUT, we also have a unique individual in Mina James. She is strong, determined, and in love with the devil. I hope to continue the series.

Started out fast paced, intriguing and grabbed my attention.
Then, unfortunately, the repetition of mental thoughts started. There was constantly something going on to keep you reading, but that repetition kept up throughout the rest of the story and really bogged it down.

Both main characters were interesting, but would have been even better with a little more action added to them and less talk about them.
Hmmm, that's not clear. What I'm trying to say is there needed to be more 'show' of their characters & less repetitive thoughts about their character. That said, even the supporting characters in this story are very interesting.

There was a lot of action, suspense and a bit of mystery.
The romance is definitely adult, but a bit cheesy and often sappy. This did not help with the character build of Luke Thorne.

All in all I liked it, but I admit I was a bit disappointed.
It was good, but could have been really fantastic.

I don't remember seeing any typos, etc. ( )

I liked this hero. Oddly, I liked his brother even more. This was definitely a different kind of paranormal romance. One of those you don't see coming--or at least I didn't. I'm not going to give away any spoilers. I'll just say if you like Cynthia Eden's paranormal romances and you like your heroes dark, then you'll want to get this book. ( )

Loved The devil in disguise, this was a great start to a new series loved Mina her mixture of naivety and smarts was very endearing while the concept of what luke was was very intriguing also got to say I'm a real sucker for a bad boy and luke sure hit the spot, I also really liked all the secondary characters will be interesting seeing where this storyline is heading very enjoyable read. ( )
