I know there are a lot of people who want "different" types of Thanksgiving books. Not the typical pilgrim/Indian fare. There is a large farm to table push these days and frankly, we need to acknowledge all of the different people that bring food to us: from the farmers to the packers to the grocery store workers. A lot of those people never get noticed and this book does that! ( )

A great read especially during this time when we are extra grateful for farmers, store clerks and grocery workers! Can be used in a science lesson as well, "where do we get our food?"

How do we get our food? This book talks about farms letting us know where food comes from. The many people that are involved in the process and the many resources that are included to getting the food into our homes and on the table.
