In this book, a little boy is excited about the rain and an old man is not. They meet and he changes the old man's perspective. Simple words, no long sentences, a kindergartner could likely read all the words in this book

A little boy likes the rainy day, while an old grumpy man does not. The boy and his mother head out to a cafe', and the old man is headed to the same one. At the cafe' the boy accidentally bumps into the grumpy man who drops his hat, but doesn't know it. The man leaves and the boy sees his hat and runs to find him. He returns the hat, and the act of kindness has brightened the mans day and he is in a much better mood. This book is in the Lakewood Pierce College Library, and is for ages 3 to 5.
