Matt and Jamie become reacquainted through work. Jamie has always liked Matt but Matt's girlfriend was Jamie's best friend. Now Matt is finding he has feelings for Jamie and discovers he may be gay. He does not deal well with it.

I liked Jamie. Matt was a jerk, to put it kindly. He dumps on Jamie and ends up in trouble when he tries to find a way to get through Christmas. This story could have used some proofreading. I hated the cliff hanger ending. I would have preferred a longer novel with all four parts in it. ( )

5 of 75 for 2015, but I hesitate to count it for two reasons. It's little more than a novella, although it is the first in an on-going series. Second, I've read it before. That said, it's a gay harlequin, with two handsome young men as the main characters, getting to know each other and discovering truths about themselves. The road isn't always smooth, but the bumps make us appreciate the smooth pavement all the more, right? As long as you accept the premise that a young "straight" man may actually find solace in the arms of an openly gay man, you'll enjoy this story as much as I did.
