This is a suspenseful story about Maddy, a psychic doctor who heals with gentle, loving, positive energy, often bringing terminally ill patients back from the brink of death. I like how the author stresses the benefits of positive thoughts as a healing power. Then Maddy's whole world is suddenly turned upside down when a dark, evil force starts haunting her floor of the hospital searching for victims. Desperate to save her patients from a sadistic killer that literally sucks the life out of them, Maddy seeks out Stefan, a powerful psychic and friend. Together, with the help of Drew, a very attractive detective who's investigating the deaths of six children that seemed to be linked to Maddy's killer, they face down the predator. Listened to this one on a recent road trip. Better be prepared for some new age kind of stuff (in addition to the psychic stuff), but I enjoyed the story quite a bit. I felt it started a bit slow, but hung on and the pace and interest increased as the book progressed. ( )

I love books by Dale Mayer. She keeps me on the edge of my seat. I could not figure out the identity of the guilty person. Very well written ( )

Reading this book was part of a blog tour. I loved the title and the description sounded so interesting. The cover and title makes me think of an old historical building that would have ghost/spirits haunting the halls. However this book is anything but that. Yes this book has some paranormal in it but I think of it as good paranormal.

Maddy is a brilliant doctor. She is able to help people heal with more than just medicine. She helps them heal with positive energy. It is kind of like she has a third eye that can scan problems in the body. She can slowly remove the problem in areas. At the hospital everyone wants to be on her floor. Everyone who is sick wants to receive healing from Dr. Maddy.

Drew meets Maddy while she is running up the stairs in the hospital. I get the feeling that when Drew sees Maddy it is lust at first site. The picture I have of Maddy is a tall beautiful woman. She has a body that every woman wants and every man would kill to see and hold.

Drew is not just drawn to Maddy's looks he feels the energy she projects. He does not understand what is happening but know he wants more. I feel that Maddy is drawn to Drew because he is taller than she is. She seems to want a man that towers her in height.

This book was a very interesting read. It has some romance, paranormal, mystery and crime between the pages. The plot of this book is not totally focused on romance. So if you are not a big fan of romance book this is still a great read.

Maddy is a medical intuitive. She uses energy to heal her patient’s, to see where their problem areas are and to work on them until they release. Her patient’s love her, everyone wants to be on Maddy’s Floor – some more than others. Some will do whatever it takes to get there, blackmail, bribery, lie, cheat – kill? Maybe!
This book was a great story by itself but by adding in the energy plots it made it a winner! What an excellent tale! Romance, great sex, black snake-thingys and……Maddy using her energy the only way she knows how – to it’s fullest.
This is Book 3 in the Psychic Vision series. Books 1 and 2 are: Tuesday’s Child and Hide’n Go Seek. If they are anywhere near as good as this one you’d be in for a treat to read all three! ( )
