With Carly's warm concern and skilled touch, Adam begins to thaw from the inside out, and he starts to think about having a normal life. He knows he has to conquer the secret he has carried for fifteen years before he can begin his life anew. Carly has had her share of tragedies, and she was not expecting to find love again, especially with someone in the dangerous profession of firefighting. Coburn is a highly entertaining and involving storyteller. This book opens with the compelling scene of Adam in the middle of the apartment building fire, and the intensity continues throughout the story line. There is one more book to come in this series--each O'Malley son has had his own book--and it is sure to be a terrific finale!
