I agree with the person on Amazon who said Tina Leonard is good with dialogue but her plotting could use some work (yeah, what is it about the characters saying one thing and then doing the opposite next?). Read for the dialogue alone; it's outrageous and delightful to read.

This is my first time trying this author, and, this book being the fourth in the series, I would like a little background about the lawsuit since it seems it's been going on for a while (ha, I don't even know for how long). Thankfully I was able to follow along for most of the story. I did think Fiona left much too soon but I guess that's how it is sometimes when one jumps into the middle of a series.

I have a love-hate relationship with all the SECRETS! in the story. When I was about to put the book down, I came across the SECRETS!, so many intriguing SECRETS!, and I just had to continue reading. But since this book is part of a series, of course you don't find out what the SECRETS! are. Darn.

I'm not sure I want to continuing reading this series. It would only be for the dialogue and to uncover those SECRETS!. I sincerely hope the plotting will improve. ( )
