"Where there's smoke, there's fire ... Since 9/11, Brooklyn firefighter Griff Muir has wrestled with impossible feelings for his best friend and partner at Ladder 181, Dante Anastagio. Unfortunately, Dante is strictly a ladies' man, and the FDNY isn't exactly gay-friendly. For ten years, Griff has hidden his heart in a half-life of public heroics and private anguish. Griff's caution and Dante's cockiness make them an unbeatable team. To protect his buddy, there's nothing Griff wouldn't do ... until a nearly bankrupt Dante proposes the worst possible solution: HotHead.com, a gay porn website where uniformed hunks get down and dirty. And Dante wants them to appear there--together. Griff may have to guard his heart and live out his darkest fantasies on camera. Can he rescue the man he loves without wrecking their careers, their families, or their friendship?"--Page 4 of cover.… (mere)

Libro consigliatissimo! ( )

I read this book like the week before September 11 and it hit so close to the actual date I was shocked. Kinda upset I didn't wait for it but it was too good to wait!

These two men are naughty, naughty, naughty. I wasn't surprised that Griff would do anything for Dante, who the obvious lover boy and so irresistible. Because of that though, he keeps holding himself back and thinking that Dante will never accept him or his big cock for what they are. Which is laughable really seeing how

Dante was the one who constructed the whole thing, which was kind of shocking because I wasn't thinking that he planned so far ahead.
I mean he did have money problems but he really, really wanted Griff for himself and the spicy little pepper is such a jealous one too! Oh! what did griffin get himself into? lol

The final scene that they got into when they slept with each other, which I was DYING to read, was so emotional that I really didn't want it to end.

The scenes that they got into were very hot and I liked that Dante had some hidden agenda and that Suede didn't make him into an automatic gay guy, that just wanted his best friend. ( )

Two dumb-as-a-box-of-rocks firefighters in a sweet are-they-or-aren’t-they? romance. Decent story but it somehow failed to really engage me; I don’t think it lives up to all the hype. ( )
