I think most kids can relate to this book very well becasue they pretty much follow the same schedule. McMillan used photographs instead of drawing pictures which I feel made kids relate to it even more because it showed an actual kid doing different things like eating breakfast, riding in the car, or going to school. Also the picture on the left was always a picture of an analog clock showing the correct time so that helps kids with reading a clock. ( )

Time To.. is a deatailed yet easy-to-use leaning tool for time with small children. Each page displays an hour of the day (seven o'clock a.m. for example)in both digital alarm clock format with A.M. or P.M. listed as well as a standard round face clock. At each given time, a child's task is assigned. At seven o'clock a.m., it reads, "SEVEN O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING, TIME TO... WAKE UP". It is also accompanied by a picture of a child waking up. The book makes very good use of it's visual aspects. ( )

Travel the day with a Kindergartener as he tells the time and what he is to be doing. Alongside is a clock to indicate the time. Easily can be a wordless book.

I would use this book to introduce to my Kindergarters the schedule of the year. ( )

Again with these concept books I like real photographs. I also like all the refers around the concept of time; the face clock, the digital clock and the action that takes place at that time.
