This could have been a much better book if it had gone through some editorial work. The beginning seemed very rushed and could have used some further set up before rushing right into the action. There were some inconsistencies throughout the book along with grammatical and spelling errors. The pre-ending battle with Lucas was a bit anti-climactic and I was left thinking "that's it?" I would have liked to seem a bit more struggle between Autumn and Lucas at this point. The epilogue...well lets just say I like a happy ending and for me the ending wasn't all that happy...but I got what it symbolized.
All in all I did enjoy the book a lot. It has a really good premise, very interesting characters and some really cool magic and weapons. I just felt like it could have used some fine tuning. ( )
