S. Dionne Moore has done it again, she is the writer of the great mysteries "Poly Dent Looses Grip" and "Murder On the Old Bunion"
she is now writing historical fiction and this book PROMISE of TOMORROW is great.

Review: The book Promise of Tomorrow stars Alaina Morrison and her boyfriend Jack Kelley. Jack loves Alaina but thinks he has to have money before he can marry her. He is so involved with making money he forgets his dates with Alaina most of the time. She lives with her Mother that is a seamtress and works in the store below their apartment.

They live in a small town that is in the valley of a lake that belongs to a rich set of people that does not worry if the dam is safe for the small town below. What will happen if the dam fails? Can it be fixed before something bad happens?

Jack works in a iron company where they turn the iron to steel and it is a very hot and dangerous job. His mind is always on work, work, work and Alaina finally takes all she can and goes to here aunt's house to look at a college that her Mother wants her to go too.

This is a great book and relates back to a flood that happened back in the 1800's. Can the small town be saved? Will the dam hold? And will Alaina come back to Jack?
Be sure to purchase your copy of this great book.
