Never know what to expect from Cotton's adventures - my scores range from 3.5★s to 5★s - so I'll be happy with an enjoyable plot and interesting historical backdrop.

I like this series a lot and it's mainly because of Cotton...so yes..I'm glad to be reading another one. I do have to say that what I have read thus far that features Cotton is really interesting... but I could have gone forever without all the information about the Church of the Latter Day Saints.

Haven’t started yet, trying to finish audio book of “Red Sparrow “ but it is rather long and needs returning before long, but will try to get involved with Cotton as soon as I can. Looking forward to being re-acquainted with him.

I’m hoping for some good history around Lincoln, The American Civil War and the emancipation Of slaves. Also learning a lot about the Church of Latter Day Saints so my life is now complete! 😳
I’m hoping this one keeps up the high standard of The King’s Deception.

always fun to see what culturally/historically significant site Cotton and friends will destroy...or how long it takes for the bookshop to be destroyed...LOL

>10 bhabeck: How many times has it burned...been shot to pieces...had the floors covered with bodies now?:) Wonder how his neighbors feel?
