Can anyone tell me what he imagines this ferryman will look like when you ultimately happen to meet him?
What profession will the man have, will he be drunk or sober, will he have a tooth or a headache...

Sorry in replying a little bit late, but I haven't rereaed my nocturnal chimaera since long....
As far as I understood Egyptian mythology, the ferryman on the Styx was a male, but, thank you for the hint, I should read the Arthur saga.... I only know it from Flemish comics, eg. "de rode ridder" (the red knight) which I read in my boyhood, long time ago.... Has something to do with Lancelot, The Holy Grail, et tutti quanti.... Quite abstract mysicism in my opinion, but I should get more acquainted to Wagner....
Do you read me?
Best,
Hans
