Om migI am a lifelong academic [economics and economic history] and administrator of not-for-profit educational foundations. My interests are broad, perhaps not so deep, and eclectic. My politics are of a non-voting variety. I am liberal in the sense of the 500-year long tradition growing out of the middle ages and modified by the enlightenment. I consider myself to be on the left or radical wing of the liberal tradition. I am long retired and will this year become 80 years old. My interest in ideas keeps me younger than my age.
Om mit bibliotekMy library follows my interests of history generally and of liberalism in particular. History is my muse and primary interest. I am not, however, a recluse. I want to see my ideas [ideology, if you will] to come alive in the real world, and I see my life's work as contributing to that effort.
