I collect authors and individual books I like. I hate starting a series in the middle. It is nothing for me to read a book in a day and because I don't read for retention, I often buy duplicate books. Every few years (when money is short or I can't get to the library or bookstore) I start through my library again.

I am a church administrator and bookkeeper by profession. I share my home with three wonderful young adult children, a pitbull puppy, a great dane (who thinks she is pomeranian), two pomeranians (my dogs), six cats, 2 cages of zebra finches (varying populations), a 75 gallon fish tank, a waterfall fish tank, and several fountains. I have an eclectic taste in books centering on mystery/suspense, romance, young adult (my daughter brings me home books from the high school library that she thinks I would like), fantasy/science fiction, biography and christian theology/study. I read every night before I go to sleep, and if the book is good, I often will read all night. I would rather read than clean house and often follow my heart rather than the "shoulds" in my life.
